I am flattered and ecstatic that pronterus, NyteRose and afai1261 all link updates to their stories there (they all write vampire simlits that I follow), and I think that some of the traffic we generate in our discussion there attracts readers who would really like your story as well!

And I invite you to post your story link on my vampire thread if you would like because we have a lot of folk there who really love vampire stories and who follow the updates from other vampires simlits from that thread. Two of my favorites that I am currently following and that I link to on my vampire thread have no images with the story (like yours), but in both cases there are threads here on the forum in the creativity daughter boards on which I (and other readers) can comment and where the authors can post updates for the stories, but if you are reluctant, for any reason, to make a forum post for this story yet, I get it. In my experience a lot of folk who write simlits do not accompany them with images. I can't wait to read more if/when you write it. this is an interesting read (the storyline invites commentary and curiosity) with vivid, realistic and compelling characters (I relate directly to their feelings - or in this case Sam's feelings and actions), and the writing style is fluid and informative without the over use of narrative that is not delivered directly by the actions and voices of the characters. After my initial read through of the chapter I find myself drawn to three key elements of this work. Either way, I have most definitely bookmarked both the wordpress (which I have been checking periodically) and the chapter which I will be re-reading as is my habit. I usually re-read before a proper comment on a story like this, but I am not really sure if you are interested in commentary or that this is the right place to make it. Not a problem!
